Latest: Chidyausiku dies
Former Zimbabwe Chief Justice Godfrey Chidyausiku has died. He was 70.
He passed away yesterday at a South African hospital where he was receiving treatment.
A source revealed to Zimnews that Chidyausiku who was fit until he retired few months ago has been very unwell ever since he left office.
However, it has since been revealed that he had advanced cancer by the time he retired from government.
During his time, Chiyausiku presided over critical decisions that will affect Zimbabwe and its citizens for many years to come.
Zimbabwe government has been criticised for running a partisan judiciary system that favours and protects Mugabe’s ruling Zanu PF party.
