Charles Manyuchi ‘Zambian Based Zimbabwean Boxer’ Wins in Russia: Pictures

Charles Manyuchi of Zimbabwe scores a major boxing upset in win over Russian Mikhaylenko!

CHARLES Manyuchi beat Russia’s Dmitry Mikhaylenko last Friday night to become the World Boxing Council welterweight silver champion.

The title was one held by top ranking Amir Khan a  millionaire British boxer.

Manyuchi inflicted Mikhaylenko’s first defeat in 22 professional fights, this win comes against all odds as Manyuchi was  not expected to win in Russia.

The judges scored  the match 116-114; 118-110 and 115-113 all in favour of Manyuchi.

Zimbabweans could not watch the match video online or TV as there was need to pay about $10000 to get the match streamed live to viewers.

Manyuchi is now ranked among boxing elite fighters after getting another belt.

The match was also attended by Prophet Uebert Angel.
