1 dead as army of 50 machete gold miners go on rampage

By ZRP| Fifty artisanal miners armed with machetes and axes went on a rampage, attacking other miners. Two male adults were severely assaulted and they sustained serious injuries.

One resultantly died upon admission at Inyathi Hospital.

The accused persons are still at large.

Case Two: Portia Maphosa and 4 others were granted $1000.00 bail each, with one accused remanded to 4/12/19 for bail application. Bail conditions are as follows:- Not to interfere with witnesses, To reside at given addresses, and To report twice a week at St Marys Police Station, that is Mondays and Thursdays.

Case Three: Mwanawasuka Phillip and two others Remanded to 4/12/19 for bail ruling.

Case four : Moffart Siwizane and two others Remanded to 4/12/19 for bail ruling

Case five: Moffart Siwizane (Parkridge case) Remanded to 4/12/19 for bail ruling Case six: Robert Tinaye Chihota and three others (Epworth) Remanded to 4/12/19 for Bail ruling
