Chamisa visits elderly woman whose video went viral in 2018 shouting ‘Ndavhotera Chamisa’ as she left polling station

Citizens Coalition for Change CCC leader Nelson Chamisa has visited the elderly woman who shot to fame in 2018 when she was filmed leaving a polling station before declaring: “Ndavhotera Chamisa!”

This is loosely translated: (I have voted for Nelson Chamisa)

Today, Chamisa paid Gogo Chihera a surprise visit in Harare’s Glen View suburb and gifted her a couch and groceries.

After the visit, Chamisa posted:

“Today I visited Gogo Chihera at her house in Glen view. We delivered a yellow present to her. Oh she was so excited! Citizens at the centre!”

Meanwhile, Chamisa also visited renowned investigative journalist Hopewell Chin’ono.
