Cabinet adopts Zimbabwe’s accession to nuclear energy

Cabinet has adopted Zimbabwe’s accession to nuclear energy protocols, conventions and agreements.

Presenting during post cabinet briefing, Ministry of Information said the joint protocol relating to the application of the Vienna Convention and the Paris Convention.

These also include the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism, Agreement on the Privileges and Immunities of International Atomic Energy Agency, and the Vienna Convention on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage.

It was also disclosed the Ministry of Health and Child Care is ready to introduce Covid19 self-test kits, mainly at points of entry and remote areas, to ramp up testing in all communities.
