Businessman dies after collapsing while running

A businessman who was on Tuesday morning found dead along Jeff Road near the Golden Peacock Villa Hotel was not murdered but died of heart failure.

Police this week cleared the air on the mysterious death of the Chikanga-based kombi operator, Artwell Tenderere (36).

Word doing rounds was that the youthful businessman was robbed, killed and dumped by the roadside by suspected thieves who were driving an unregistered Toyota Ipsum.

The thieves were said to have tracked him from his place of residence, robbed and killed him in the process.

Police said Tenderere, of House No.8174 St Joseph Chikanga, succumbed to heart failure and collapsed while he was jogging along Jeff Road. state media
