10 Apostolic Church Members Killed in Guruve-Mvurwi Road Accident

10 people were killed and many others injured when 2 lorries were involved in an accident along Guruve-Mvurwi highway on Friday night.

According to reports from the scene, 8 died on the spot while 2 others passed away when they reached Guruve hospital.

The lorry was carrying members of the Zimbabwe apostolic church sect who were coming from a church meeting at the Karoi shrine in Guruve.

According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened around evening times on Friday, 21 October.

It is alleged that the accident was due to speeding.

Local police are yet to give a statement on the latest road accident to claim so many lives in Zimbabwe.
