BREAKING NEWS: Chamisa’s Lawyer Summoned by police

The lawyer for Movement for Democratic Change-Alliance president Nelson Chamisa, Advocate Thabani Mpofu has been summoned by the Zimbabwe Republic Police.

The reason for the summoning is yet to be known, and Mpofu has confirmed the summoning.

“On my way to Harare Central, Law & Order section.

“I understand I’m required in connection with my comments on the MDC trio abduction documentary.

“Let me find out what the position is and will advise,” he says.

The top Harare lawyer was recently arrested and charged with defeating or obstructing the course of justice.

He was accused of filing a court application last year, bolstered by an affidavit by someone who “does not exist.”
