President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa has shut down Parliament amid fears of impending impeachment.
In a dramatic turn of events, Deputy Speaker, a pro-2030 advocate, entered the lower house and blocked any discussion of the day’s agenda.
Ii surrounding the impeachment bill, which was scheduled to be presented today.
The parliament later announced an adjournment to the 6th of May 2025.
