A photo has been shared showing a huge pile of Zimbabwe Bond Notes at some bank in the country.

While many are not sure where things are going it is now clear that the US dollar is slowly disappearing, and being replaced by bond money.

For now the US dollar is still available BUT Gresham’s law is becoming a reality in Zimbabwe.

Gresham’s law, is a monetary principle which states that if there are two forms of commodity money in circulation, which are accepted by law as having similar face value, the more valuable commodity will disappear from circulation.

Many Zimbabweans and businesses believe that the US$ has more value that bond notes.
