Latest: Bona giving birth to Mugabe’s first grandchild in Dubai this month: Bob a grandfather soon

Zimbabwe’s 92 year old President Robert Mugabe is soon to be a grandfather as daughter, Bona Chikore, is about to give birth in the Far East in Dubai.

The president had told mourners gathered at the home of the late Victoria Chitepo that First Lady Grace Mugabe had travelled to be with Bona.

“President Mugabe said First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe was a close friend of the late heroine but was unable to attend as she was in the Far East with her daughter, Mrs Bona Chikore, who is about to give birth,” the newspaper reported.

“It’s a matter of days,” he said.

According to online pictures posted by family friend and businessman Wicknell Chivayo, the First Lady, who is already a grandmother, is in Dubai with other members of the family.
