Bomb Explosion at Zim War Vets Meeting Place in Harare

A bomb has exploded at a popular Harare hideout for Zimbabwe’s War Veterans.

The bombing happened in the early morning hours of yesterday. There were no deaths or injuries reported apart from damages to property.

This comes at a time when everyone in Zanu PF is looking over their shoulders due to fierce rivalry and clashes in the race to succeed President Robert Mugabe when he retires in the near future.

The ruling party is also sharply divided into two faction each pushing its on agendas in a bid to eventually take over when Mugabe leaves power.

Giving latest updates about the bomb, War Vets leader Douglas Mahiya warned that it is high time authorities take these threats seriously given the problems in Zanu PF.

Many war vets have called for the immediate resignation of President Mugabe from Zanu PF and government sighting his age as a cause for concern.

Mugabe is on record for saying that he will rule Zimbabwe as long as he is sane.
