Another Mugabe statue unveiled

A Kuwadzana man Joshua Mboya has parted ways with so many of his possessions in his bid to raise resources to enable him to built a statue for President Robert Mugabe.

Mugabe who recently received a statue from prominent sculptor Dominic Benhura might have to deal with two ‘ugly artifacts’ after an almost identical image was made in honour of him by Mboya.

The little known artist is said to be a hero worshiper of the veteran 92-year -old Zimbabwe leader.

A neighbour of the artist who spoke to reporters on condition that his name is not mentioned suggested that many people who have been fixated with Mugabe are in a state of loss as they are sensing that their man is now too old and will not be there forever.

Mugabe’s new statue is made up of used metal and filler material.
