Amara Brown on se_x scene in viral video, Akiliz

A FEW days after her viral video for her hit song Akiliz attained a million views, songbird Ammara Brown has come out to point out that there was no actual ora! se_x on the set of the steamy music video that has had tongues wagging in Zimbabwe over the last few months.

Brown’s Akiliz was one of the stand-out tracks of 2017, cementing her place as Zimbabwe’s top female musician. This was all but confirmed when Akiliz hit the one million mark, making Ammara the most watched female Zimbabwean musician ever.

However, the video for her latest smash hit divided opinion, with some claiming that some of the raunchy scenes bordered on p0rnography. Responding to fan comments on a local radio station as she celebrated the one million views milestone, Ammara said although it looked like the man who played Akiliz in the video was giving her ora! pleasure, this was not the case.

“No, actually. I was fully clothed. I literally had a suit top on with a waist belt and shorts and I was sitting on the boardroom. So in my million views, thank you,” she said.

Ammara also said impressionable fans had also judged the ora! se_x scene on its surface meaning.

“It’s metaphoric. And it lasted for two seconds . . . If that’s where your mind goes then I can’t help you,” she said.

The songbird pointed out that sometimes her form of entertainment was not always suitable for younger viewers.

“I remember someone else commenting about the kids saying I can’t watch this with the kids. I didn’t say I was for the kids. I didn’t say that. I did not say that. I’m a grown woman. I’m 29 (years old) people. I’m someone’s mum I got my se_xy all the time. It’s not always for the kids,” she said

She however, encouraged her fans not to watch the video with their parents.

“I used to watch some crazy stuff with my dad, action movies. But se_x scenes are always awkward so don’t do that,” she said. state media
