Zimbabwe men’s football team, The Warriors, will likely face continental football heavyweights after being seeded in pot four alongside Togo, Uganda and Guinea Bissau.
This means, they will not be playing any of the above teams.
Instead, there is a bigger prospect of playing against some of the world’s most recognised football nations, Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Senegal could possibly face Zimbabwe as they are seeded in a different pots.
The African Cup of Nations will take place in Gabon ending on 5 February after opening on 14 January.
A draw to decide the groups will be done on October 19th.

Pot 1: Gabon, Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana, Algeria
Pot 2: Tunisia, Mali ,Burkina Faso, DR Congo
