91% compounded loan hell for Mai TT

CONTROVERSIAL Zimbabwe socialite Mai TT has been charged with fraud amounting to US$10,000 and appeared in court, but was not asked to enter a plea and was released.

The court heard that she had borrowed the money last year and provided a Mercedes Benz as collateral.

Later, Mai TT claimed that the car did not belong to her and offered another vehicle, which she also reclaimed.

She then attempted to offer her passport, but it turned out to be invalid. As a result, the loan shark demanded the return of one of the cars.

However, earlier this year, the police seized the car, claiming that it belonged to a car dealer, after which the shark reported the fraud to the authorities.

Mai TT’s next court appearance is scheduled for April 20.
