9 people killed in Toyota Wish/ Nissan UD truck head-on collision

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed a fatal road traffic accident in which nine people died after a Toyota Wish vehicle was involved in a head on collision with a Nissan UD truck at the 198 km peg along Masvingo –Mbalabala Road.

 

According to the police, the accident happened on 02/03/23 at around 1630 hours.

 

Meanwhile, the bodies of the victims were taken to Filabusi District Hospital awaiting post mortem and identification by next of kin.

 

In other news, police in Harare are investigating circumstances surrounding an incident in which Priscilla Chidamba (27) and her son, Innocent Mujeye (7) died after allegedly consuming a suspected poisonous substance on 01/03/23, in Glen Norah C.

 

And Priscilla Chidamba’s daughter (3) is admitted at a local hospital after drinking the same substance.
