31st July Movement convenor plans protest on Independence Day

The 31st July Movement convenor Jacob Ngarivhume says Zimbabweans should protest on Independence Day calling for reforms ahead of elections.

“We need to prepare of a national demonstration on independence day.

“To send a stong message to this government We want reforms!! We want action on corruption!!”

He says Zimbabweans need to take seriously the exposure by Team Pachedu on ZEC operational irregularities.

“We have no guarantees of a free and fair election as long as ZEC is not independent.

“We need a leadership change ZEC. Let us not waste time,” he says.

Team Pachedu recently took the country’s electoral management body to task over a shambled voters’ role.

“It is now clear that ZEC does not own the IT systems which run our elections.

“These systems are owned and managed by the military through their proxy firm Africom.

“Every Zimbabwean must be talking about it as this has implications on the upcoming 2023 elections,” says Team Pachedu.
