Having trouble finding the article you want? Check the guide below to how the site works.
All articles are divided into an Issue category which is displayed on the side menu. These are then subdivided into News articles and Reports. The site is set up so the latest articles are listed in each category but if what you're looking for isn't there, check the archive option which is on each of these pages.
NB Some articles appear under more than one of the issues.
If you still can't find the relevent article, try the search option which will search the title of every article for the keyword/phrase that you've typed in.
If you still can't find it, use the advanced search option. This works in the same way as the normal search except that it searches the articles' title, the author/publication, what type of article it is and the article summary.
It also allows the option of more sophisticated searching:
- AND, OR, NOT - Use these to combine or exclude words in the search
- ( ) - Use these for differentiating between complex searches eg. (land AND farms) OR livestock. This would return articles that include land AND farms in them or include livestock.
- " " - Use double quotes for phrases eg "farm re-settlement". If you don't use double quotes the search will treat each word as a separate parameter.
- NB - In the advanced search the case of the words is ignored UNLESS you use mixed cases to search with so my advice would be to search in just one case, either UPPER or lower.
